As part of its ongoing academic enrichment initiatives, 必威体育betway888 Law School, Bengaluru, MAHE- Bengaluru conducted a Guest Lecture by Prof. Dr. Sujata Roy on the "Role of Corporate Governance in Human Rights Protection" on 28th May 2025. This session was aimed at deepening students’ understanding of the intersection between corporate responsibility and human rights within the framework of modern governance.
Dr. Sujata Roy, Associate Professor at The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, is an expert in the field and provided insightful perspectives on how corporate governance practices can be aligned with human rights principles, emphasising the role of accountability, transparency, and stakeholder engagement in ensuring ethical business conduct.
