On April 1, 2023, the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), 必威体育betway888 College of Health Professions (MCHP), 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), hosted the one-day 3rd National Conference on Clinical Laboratory Education and 必威体育betway888 (NACCLER-2023).

The conference focused on a wide range of topics, including the use of advanced laboratory technologies, the analysis of research data, and the most recent developments in the field. Participants had the opportunity to attend speeches and interactive sessions, all aimed at best practices in clinical laboratory education and research.

The program's Chief guest, Dr. Rohit Singh, Director of 必威体育betway888 Relations at MAHE, 必威体育betway888, highlighted the importance of careers in medical laboratories. Dr. Varashree B S, Professor and Head of Biochemistry at Kasturba Medical College in 必威体育betway888, was the guest of honor.

In his welcome address, Dr. G Arun Maiya, Dean of MCHP, emphasises the role of laboratory professionals in the rapidly evolving healthcare industry. Dr. Saritha Kamath U, Professor and Head of the Department of MLT, gave a programme overview.

Keynote speakers Dr. Sucheta P. Dandekar, Professor of Biochemistry, Era University, Era's Lucknow Medical College. Sarfaraz Ganj, Hardoi Road Lucknow, - “From bench to bedside… Translating basic research to relevant health outcomes” and “Principles of research, choice of data collection and analysis”.

The conference was attended by more than 210 participants, including laboratory professionals, educators, and students from various colleges and universities across the country.
